I, with my husband, son and our four cats are blessed to have family locally and throughout the area.

I am pleased to extend my services of Wedding Ceremonies, Mediation & Life Celebrations to SW Florida.

Born in New York, I attended Catholic Elementary and High Schools, I graduated SUNY Stony Brook in 1994 & obtained my Juris Doctor from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University. Licensed to practice in Virginia in 2000, I opened my own firm, Cuevas Law, P.L.L.C. in 2004. The firm was renamed Loy Law, P.L.L.C. in 2013.

The law office in Reston serves the public using Collaborative Law, Mediation, Negotiation and Cooperation. Correction of birth certificates, marriage certificates, name changes and other uncontested matters as well.

Mediation has become a large part of the practice, saving families from the harshness of divorce litigation has long been my plight and wish. I am part of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP) and I am trained as a Florida State Supreme Court Family Mediator*

In 2013, I was certified by the Circuit Court of Fairfax County to perform weddings. I have had the privilege of joining nearly 500 couples together.

May, 2020 LoveLoy Marriages, Mediation & More was launched. I began offering Wedding, Life Celebration and Mediation services in Virginia, Florida and other states.
